What You’ll Find Here
Diner menus are long, prices vary by location, and the nutrition numbers are never where you need them. This page collects the free tools we’ve built to fix that: quick estimators and lookups that answer the two questions every diner-goer asks — what will this cost? and what am I actually eating? Everything below works right in your browser, on desktop or phone.
Diner Order Estimator
Build your plate before you walk in the door. Pick a main dish, add a side and a drink, set the quantity, and get an instant estimate of the price range, calories, protein, and carbs — based on typical 2026 menu ranges across the major diner chains.
Estimate Your Diner Order
Estimates based on typical US diner menu ranges. Actual prices and nutrition vary by location.
How to use it
- Pick your main. Grand Slam breakfasts, burgers, chicken fried steak, melts — the usual suspects from Denny’s, IHOP, Waffle House, and friends.
- Add sides and a drink. Hash browns, grits, biscuits, coffee, shakes — each one adjusts the totals.
- Set the quantity. Planning for the table? Crank it up and see the full damage before you order.
What the numbers mean
Price shows as a range (for example, $10.79–$12.99), because most diner chains are franchised and individual restaurants set their own prices. The low end reflects cheaper markets; the high end reflects expensive ones. Calories, protein, and carbs are estimates for standard builds, cross-checked against the chains’ published nutrition data — your actual plate varies with the cook, your modifications, and portioning.
What it doesn’t do
- It can’t see your local menu — always confirm the final price at your restaurant.
- It doesn’t account for tax, tip, or limited-time offers.
- It’s a planning aid, not medical or dietary advice. If you have allergies or a medical condition, verify directly with the restaurant — shared griddles mean cross-contact is always possible.
